Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: April 7 – April 11, 2025
It was a powerhouse week at the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber, packed with meaningful connections, forward-thinking conversations, and momentum-building events. From championing local businesses and spotlighting innovation to deepening community engagement, we’ve been busy laying the groundwork for long-term impact. If you missed anything, don’t worry — here are Five Things The Chamber Did This Past Week to support, strengthen, and celebrate our vibrant business community:
1. We hosted our April Wildomar Coffee with the City with a spotlight on the Community Services Department, giving attendees a closer look at the vital work this team does to enhance life in Wildomar. From park maintenance and recreational programming to special events and volunteer opportunities, the department plays a key role in building a vibrant, connected community. Attendees got the inside scoop on upcoming city events, ongoing projects, and how residents and businesses alike can get more involved in shaping the city's future.
2. We proudly hosted our Job Fair in partnership with the City of Murrieta and Riverside County Workforce Development, bringing together opportunity and ambition under one roof! With over 25 employers representing a wide range of industries — from healthcare and hospitality to public safety and manufacturing — job seekers had the chance to make real connections, explore career pathways, and even apply on the spot. This event was all about supporting our local workforce, helping businesses fill critical roles, and strengthening the economic vitality of our region. A big thank you to all the employers who showed up ready to hire, and to the job seekers who came prepared to take their next step!
3. We kicked off the month with our April Networking Breakfast at The Cove Bar & Grill, bringing together local professionals for great food, meaningful connections, and powerful insights. This month’s featured presentation, “AI Blueprints for Small Businesses,” was led by guest speaker Pamela Olomola, who broke down how artificial intelligence is no longer just for tech giants — it’s a game-changer for small businesses too.
Pamela shared practical, real-world strategies on how entrepreneurs can integrate AI into their day-to-day operations to streamline tasks, boost productivity, enhance customer service, and make smarter decisions. From automating marketing to improving workflows, attendees walked away with actionable tools they could start using right away. As AI continues to reshape the business landscape, events like these empower our members to stay ahead of the curve and remain competitive in an ever-evolving market. Big thanks to Pamela for such an engaging and insightful session — and to everyone who joined us for another high-impact morning of networking and learning!
4. We held our quarterly Explore Murrieta Board Meeting, where collaboration and forward-thinking were front and center. These meetings are all about aligning our efforts, refining our strategy, and making sure we’re driving real impact for Murrieta’s tourism and economic development goals.
This quarter, we dug into planning for some exciting initiatives set to launch in the coming months — from fresh marketing campaigns and event partnerships to innovative ways to highlight all that Murrieta has to offer visitors, locals, and future investors. Momentum is building, and we’re laying the groundwork now to make sure what’s coming next is bold, effective, and community-focused.
5. We had the pleasure of attending the Southwest Regional Pitch Competition at The Corporate Room, where some of the region’s most promising startups stepped into the spotlight to pitch their innovative ideas. These entrepreneurs competed for a coveted spot in the Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale, showcasing not just their business acumen but the vibrant spirit of innovation thriving in our local community.
A big congratulations to MetaSkill, who took the top spot and will go on to represent our region at the finale!
We also want to extend our appreciation to all the participants — your passion, creativity, and drive are what make events like this so impactful.
Now, we invite you to be part of the excitement! Join us for the Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale on April 30th at the Riverside Convention Center. This high-energy, countywide event is free to attend and open to the public — a must for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, or supporting our region’s economic growth.
