Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: February 10 – February 14, 2025
Week of Monday, January 27 - Friday, January 31, 2025
As we wrapped up a productive month of January, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber has been hard at work supporting and growing our vibrant business community. January was a month of action, collaboration, and networking, and we are excited to share the impact we’ve made in our business community. Here's a look at Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business This Past Week:
1. Coffee with the City of Murrieta: We kicked off our first Coffee with the City of Murrieta of 2025 with an informative session featuring Murrieta PD. This month, we received valuable updates on electric bicycle safety and regulations from the Traffic Bureau, along with insights into the K9 Program and its role in enhancing public safety. We also learned about the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Program, which showcases how drone technology is being used to improve law enforcement operations. It was a great chance to engage with local officials, ask questions, and stay informed about public safety initiatives that directly impact our business community.
2. Support for SoCal Black Chamber's Synergy and Social Mixer: We were proud to support our fellow chamber, the SoCal Black Chamber, at their Synergy and Social Mixer. It was an incredible evening filled with collaboration, networking, and the opportunity to build valuable connections with local business leaders. We’re excited to continue working alongside our peers to foster stronger relationships and opportunities for growth within our community.
3. Opportunities for Murrieta Innovation Center Growth : We had a productive meeting with Generation PMCA, a Toronto-based investment firm, to explore funding opportunities for startups at the Murrieta Innovation Center (MIC). We also discussed potential strategic alliances with innovation hubs in the Greater Toronto Area, aiming to create cross-border collaboration, resource sharing, and expanded opportunities for our MIC startups. This meeting marks the beginning of potential partnerships that could drive innovation and investment on both sides of the border.
4. MEGA Mixer at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium: We had an incredible turnout at the MEGA Mixer at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium, with over 1,500 attendees. The event was a fantastic opportunity to make meaningful connections, collaborate, and strengthen our business community. It was a night that highlighted the power of networking and the importance of local partnerships. Thank you to our amazing Chamber partners, vendors, sponsors, and attendees for making this event a huge success!

5. Riverside County Economic Development Alliance Meeting: We attended the Riverside County Economic Development Alliance meeting, where we reviewed the County’s Economic Development Strategic Plan and its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) component. The discussion focused on key initiatives, economic growth strategies, and collaborative opportunities designed to strengthen the region’s business environment and workforce development. It was an invaluable opportunity to stay aligned with county-level strategies that impact our local economy.
As we close out January, we want to emphasize that our Chamber is committed to providing valuable opportunities, resources, and partnerships to support the success of your business. Stay tuned for more updates on how we continue to advocate for and grow our vibrant business community in the months ahead!
