Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: January 20 – January 24, 2025
Week of Monday, January 20 - Friday, January 24, 2025
January has been a month of dynamic collaboration and forward momentum for our Chamber, as we’ve gathered for several key sessions and celebrations that are shaping the future of our community. From strategic planning for local tourism to recognizing the outstanding students who inspire us all, to diving into critical policy discussions with California legislators, the impact of our work is being felt far and wide. Here’s Five Things the Chamber Did This Past Week:
1. We held a highly productive strategic planning session for Explore Murrieta at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort! Key topics included enhancing local tourism, creating unique visitor experiences, and leveraging the city's cultural and natural assets to attract more travelers. This session wasn't just about tourism—it was about how we can drive more visitors to our region, which directly benefits local businesses. Increased tourism means more customers for our restaurants, shops, and service providers, creating a ripple effect of economic growth across the community.
The session also served as a powerful opportunity to align our goals and strengthen partnerships between businesses, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure long-term success. Together, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant economy for everyone.

2. We had the privilege of celebrating the January Lake Elsinore Students of the Month! These 8 outstanding students were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and achievements both inside and outside the classroom. Congratulations to:
• Albert DeAnda, Elsinore High School
• Geraldine Madduma, Elsinore High School
• Keanu Vergara, Lakeside High School
• Kelly Lopez, Lakeside High School
• Joshua Strange, Temescal Canyon High School
• Gianna Almeda, Temescal Canyon High School
• Joelle Picou, Keith McCarthy Academy
• David De Leon Pojoy, Ortega High School
3. Patrick attended the CalChamber Local Chamber Luncheon where we heard from a panel of California legislators on what they see the 2025 legislative cycle looking like and priority topics to be addressed. We also heard from the CalChamber about their policy priorities for 2025. There was discussion around AB 98 clean up bill that our chamber has been at the forefront of in conjunction with the Riverside Chamber. The luncheon wrapped up with a Political update panel on insights from the outside perspective on 2025 and the upcoming Governor's Race. Some great insight to prepare for another active advocacy year.
4. We held our first Ambassador meeting of 2025, where we reflected on the successes of last year and laid the groundwork for the exciting opportunities ahead! It was a great chance to celebrate accomplishments, share ideas, and ensure our incredible Ambassador team is ready to make an even greater impact in the year to come. If you’re interested in becoming an Ambassador, please contact Chris Jones for more details!
5. We held our first Board of Directors meeting of 2025, featuring insightful discussions, a recap of last year’s achievements, and a review of key initiatives to prioritize in the year ahead. As always, our focus remains on ensuring that the needs of our business community are well represented and that we continue driving impactful efforts to support growth and success across the region.
As we look ahead, we are energized by the progress we’ve made and the exciting opportunities before us. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected, and more prosperous community. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work towards our shared vision for the future!
