As we look back at 2024, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce reflects proudly on a year filled with remarkable achievements and impactful initiatives. With a clear mission to champion business growth, convene leaders, and build a stronger community, this year has demonstrated the Chamber's unwavering commitment to the Southwest Riverside County region.

  • 595 Total Members: Growing our network with 121 new members this year.
  • 116 Total Events: From networking breakfasts and mixers to job fairs, we provided platforms for connection and growth.
  • 48 Ribbon Cuttings: Celebrating the expansion and success of local businesses.
  • 9 Major Events: These signature occasions strengthened our community bonds and amplified local business voices.

Key Highlights of 2024

  1. Innovative Programs
    • Launched the Hiring Our Heroes Program to support workforce development.
    • Hosted record-breaking All Chamber Mega Mixers
    • Enhanced the Employer Connect Program, bridging businesses with talented professionals.
    • Participated in the US Chamber Committee of 100, solidifying our influence nationally.
  2. Award-Winning Advocacy
    • Recognized with the 2024 CalChamber Advocacy Champion Award for the second year in a row.
    • Awarded the IEEP Best Chamber & City Collaboration Award, a testament to our collaborative efforts with local government.
  3. Strengthening Our Economy and Workforce
    • Employment Training Panel: Secured over $8 million in training funds for regional employers, with over 800 employees trained.
    • Represented over 28,000 jobs in Southwest Riverside County, driving economic stability and growth.
  4. Through Explore Murrieta
    • Boosted visibility for our region via media campaigns, digital initiatives, and public relations, with highlights including:
      • 23.3 million website impressions
      • 46,550+ social media followers
      • 2.67 million PR reach
    • These efforts brought in visitors, strengthened connections, and promoted local business prosperity.
  5. Impact Riverside County
    • Raised $25,000 to support innovation month startups.
    • Awarded historic scholarship funds through the Murrieta Student of the Month Program.

Advocacy in Action

This year, the Chamber stood firm in protecting business interests by opposing 32 anti-business bills, successfully preventing 24 from passing. Meanwhile, we supported 40 pro-business bills, with 13 signed into law.

Our partnerships with state legislators proved vital, as our region’s leaders aligned closely with the pro-business positions of the Southwest California Legislative Council.

Engaging the Community

Our social media, website, & emails have become powerful tools to showcase our members, inspire the community to shop local, & keep our business community informed with essential resources. Over the past year, our campaigns reached over a million people, creating real connections & helping strengthen our local economy.

As we move into 2025, we remain committed to being a Catalyst for Growth, the Convener of Leaders and Influencers, and the Champion for a Thriving Community in Southwest Riverside County.
