Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: December 9 – December 13, 2024
Week of Monday, December 9 - Friday, December 13, 2024
As the year comes to a close, we are wrapping up 2024 by staying true to our mission: We serve as the Catalyst for Growth, the Convener of Leaders and Influencers, and the Champion for a Thriving Community in Southwest Riverside County. This past week, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce continued to support our local businesses and community members by fostering connections, celebrating milestones, and providing valuable opportunities. Here are the Five Things the Chamber Did for Your Business This Past Week, contributing to the growth and vibrancy of our community:
1. Celebrating the December Students of the Month
We proudly celebrated the December Students of the Month from both Murrieta and Lake Elsinore! This event highlighted the incredible achievements and dedication of local students who exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, and community service. Joined by their families, teachers, and community leaders, we recognized their hard work and bright futures. Each student received a certificate of recognition, and heartfelt stories about their journeys were shared. Congratulations to these inspiring individuals for their outstanding accomplishments and for making their schools and communities proud!

2. Ribbon-Cutting for Jersey Mike’s in French Valley
We were thrilled to welcome Jersey Mike’s newest location to French Valley with a grand opening celebration! This exciting event brought together local leaders, community members, and the Jersey Mike’s team to celebrate the opening of this fantastic new business. As a well-loved brand known for its fresh ingredients and delicious subs, Jersey Mike’s is sure to be a welcomed addition to the French Valley area. We’re excited to see this new location thrive and contribute to the vibrancy of the community by creating new job opportunities, supporting local initiatives, and offering a great dining experience for residents.
3. Employer Connect Open House
Supporting workforce development is a key priority for the Chamber, which is why we hosted an Employer Connect Open House. Businesses had the chance to connect with the Riverside County Workforce Development team to learn about valuable resources for hiring, training, and building strong teams. If you missed the event, don’t worry! You can still reach out to Nadine to explore how this program and other resources can help your business grow.
4. Grand Opening of The Home Depot on Clinton Keith
We were excited to celebrate the highly anticipated grand opening of The Home Depot on Clinton Keith Road! This milestone event brought together community members, local leaders, and Home Depot representatives to mark the arrival of this renowned retailer's second location in Murrieta. The ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolized a new chapter of growth, convenience, and opportunity for residents and businesses alike. Attendees enjoyed a first look at the state-of-the-art facility, offering a wide range of home improvement products, tools, and services. We are proud to welcome The Home Depot to our community and look forward to the positive impact they will bring through job creation, local partnerships, and outstanding customer service.
5. December Networking Breakfast and State of the Chamber
We hosted our December Networking Breakfast, marking the final gathering of the year with an event filled with connection, reflection, and inspiration! This month's special topic was a State of the Chamber with our President/CEO Patrick Ellis. Patrick shared key accomplishments from the past year, highlighted milestones achieved through collaborative efforts, and provided an insightful outlook for the Chamber’s vision and priorities in the year ahead. It was a fantastic way to wrap up 2024 and set the tone for even greater success in 2025.
