Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: November 11 – November 15, 2024

Week of Monday, November 11 - Friday, November 15 2024

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to be a catalyst for economic growth by championing business, convening leaders and ideas, and being the purveyor of fun. We are committed to fostering a thriving business community in Southwest Riverside County and this past week, we’ve been busy engaging with key initiatives that impact our members, support local businesses, and build stronger community connections. Here’s a closer look at Five Things the Chamber Did for Your Business This Past Week:

1. Final Coffee with the City of Wildomar for 2024: Navigating Permits for Your Business
We hosted our final Coffee with the City of Wildomar for the year, focusing on a critical topic for local entrepreneurs: permits needed to open a brick-and-mortar business. The Building & Safety Department provided a step-by-step explanation of the permitting process, demystifying requirements and offering tips for a smooth experience. This discussion empowered attendees with the knowledge to confidently move forward with their business plans while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Watch the full recording here.

2. Groundbreaking Ceremony for The Learning Experience and Childcare Center
We were honored to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for The Learning Experience and Childcare Center in French Valley. This exciting project will feature approximately 9,000 square feet of childcare programming and 4,000 square feet dedicated to an interactive, hands-on learning experience. Strategically located adjacent to the French Valley Library, this development will create a dynamic learning hub for future generations, offering vital resources to support families and inspire lifelong learning. We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and the positive impact it will have on our community.

3. Supporting Local Businesses with Walkabouts
Chris visited local businesses during a walkabout to check in, show support, and strengthen connections. During these visits, he shared how the Chamber is here to help businesses grow and address challenges. Whether it’s sharing resources, providing advocacy, or simply offering a listening ear, these walkabouts are a hands-on way we stay connected and responsive to our members’ needs.

4. November Networking Breakfast with Non-Profit Members
We hosted an inspiring November Networking Breakfast at The Cove Bar & Grill, shining a spotlight on the vital contributions of our non-profit members. Each organization shared their mission and impact, sparking conversations about how the business community can support their work. Attendees left with new insights, connections, and a deeper appreciation for the role non-profits play in strengthening our community. This event exemplified the power of collaboration and networking. Click here for a full list of our non-profit members.

5. Preparing the 2025 Chamber Directory
As we approach the close of sales for our 2025 Chamber Directory, we’ve been working diligently to make this publication a key resource for our members and the wider community. Strategic meetings this week focused on ways to maximize visibility for local businesses and create a comprehensive guide that fosters connections and supports regional economic growth.
