Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: October 28 – November 1, 2024
Week of Monday, October 28 - Friday, November 1 2024
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re committed to creating meaningful connections, celebrating local achievements, and ensuring we stay in touch with the heartbeat of our business community. This past week was filled with valuable interactions and celebrations, all aimed at strengthening our community and supporting our local businesses. Here’s a look at Five Things the Chamber Did for Your Business This Past Week:
1. Walkabout in Wildomar with Local Leaders
Chris, Membership & Business Development for our Chamber, participated in a community "walkabout" alongside Wildomar's Mayor Bridgette Moore and Mayor Pro-Tem Ashlee Dephillippo. This engaging initiative allowed us to connect directly with local business owners and hear firsthand about their experiences, concerns, and aspirations. By fostering these relationships with city leadership, we aim to advocate effectively for the business community's needs and ensure that your voice is heard in local government discussions.
2. Hosted the 2024 Economic Outlook
We were proud to host the 2024 Economic Outlook event, Shaping Tomorrow's Economy: The Economic Impact of AI, where industry leaders, experts, and local business owners gathered to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in the economy. The event featured thought-provoking presentations and panel discussions on how AI is reshaping industries, creating new opportunities, and presenting unique challenges across sectors. Our distinguished speakers shared insights into the potential of AI to drive innovation, boost productivity, and create jobs, while also addressing the importance of responsible and ethical AI practices. The event underscored our commitment to equipping local businesses with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in an evolving economic landscape. We are excited to continue these essential conversations and support our members in adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of tomorrow’s economy.
3. October Ambassador Meeting
We held our October Ambassador Meeting, bringing together our dedicated team of Chamber Ambassadors for a productive and supportive session. These monthly meetings allow our ambassadors to stay connected, share updates, and strategize on ways to further support our local business community. By fostering these relationships, we ensure that our ambassadors can effectively advocate for your interests and connect you with valuable resources and support.
4. Attended the Murrieta Temecula Group (MTG) Meeting
Patrick attended the Murrieta Temecula Group (MTG) Meeting, where the focus was on “Navigating the Legislation and Propositions of 2024” with special guest speakers Adam Eventov with SoCal Gas & Chris Collier with Rincon Strategies. This timely session provided a deep dive into the upcoming legislative landscape and key propositions set to impact our region in the coming year. By participating in these conversations, we equip ourselves with the knowledge necessary to advocate for policies that benefit our members and ensure that you remain informed about legislative developments that may affect your business operations.
5. Grand Re-opening Celebration of Visage at the Vein Clinic
We proudly celebrated the Grand Re-opening of Visage at the Vein Clinic, a premier local provider specializing in aesthetic and vein care. Known for their innovative, non-invasive treatment options and a commitment to patient-centered care, Visage sets a high standard in the healthcare industry. Celebrating milestones like this reinforces our mission to highlight the successes of our members and promote their contributions to the local economy.
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber, we’re committed to being a catalyst for economic growth by championing businesses, convening leaders and ideas, and fostering a fun and thriving business community in Southwest Riverside County. Whether it’s celebrating new developments, supporting our youth, or welcoming fresh opportunities for business growth, we’re here to drive positive change.
