Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: October 21 – October 25, 2024

Week of Monday, October 21 - Friday, October 25 2024

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re committed to creating meaningful connections, celebrating local achievements, and ensuring we stay in touch with the heartbeat of our business community. This past week was filled with valuable interactions and celebrations, all aimed at strengthening our community and supporting our local businesses. Here’s a look at Five Things the Chamber Did for Your Business This Past Week:

1. We held the October Coffee with the City of Murrieta!

This month, we gathered for our final Coffee with the City of Murrieta of 2024 and had the pleasure of hearing from Murrieta's Economic Development team. They shared valuable insights on the city's ongoing projects, upcoming initiatives, and resources available to help local businesses thrive. This was a fantastic opportunity for local business owners and community members to engage directly with the city, ask questions, and learn about economic development plans in the city. The Chamber believes in fostering open communication between businesses and city officials, helping build a collaborative environment that benefits everyone.

2. Chris engaged in a walkabout, visiting local businesses to check in and show support!

Chris, Membership & Business Development for our Chamber, engaged in a series of visits to local businesses, reinforcing our commitment to stay connected and support their success. During these visits, Chris shared helpful resources, and emphasized that the Chamber is always here to for support. Walkabouts like these help us understand the unique needs of each business, allowing us to serve as a more effective advocate and resource for our members. By building these one-on-one relationships, we can better address the concerns and celebrate the achievements of our business community.

3. We celebrated The Cave at Oak Mountain Winery with a Ribbon Cutting!

We were thrilled to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Cave at Oak Mountain Winery, an exciting venue that adds even more charm and unique experiences to our local wine country. Oak Mountain Winery is home to Southern California’s only mined wine caves, Oak Mountain offers tours and tastings with our friendly and knowledgeable staff. This event marked a new chapter for the winery, celebrating their dedication to quality, hospitality, and creativity. Ribbon cuttings are a wonderful way for us to showcase the hard work and passion of local businesses, and we couldn’t be more excited to see how The Cave enhances our community’s offerings. Congratulations to Oak Mountain Winery for this fantastic addition, and we encourage everyone to visit and experience it for themselves!

4. We attended and sponsored the 2024 State of the County event!

It was an honor to attend and sponsor this year’s State of the County event, themed “Riverside County: Navigating a Diverse Destination.” Staying informed about the county’s vision and priorities is essential for the Chamber, as it helps us align our goals and advocate more effectively for our local business community. This event highlighted key developments, challenges, and initiatives across Riverside County, providing valuable context and insight into the region’s growth trajectory. Our participation underscores our commitment to staying engaged with broader county goals and ensuring our community has a voice in shaping Riverside’s future.

5. We celebrated Heather with a heartfelt farewell party at 8bit Brewing Company!

Last but certainly not least, we came together to honor Heather’s incredible contributions with a special farewell celebration at 8bit Brewing Company. Heather has been a positive force on our team, making a lasting impact on both the Chamber and our community. Friends, colleagues, and community members joined us in showing appreciation for Heather’s dedication, hard work, and vibrant spirit. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, shared memories, and heartfelt farewells, and we are immensely grateful for all she has done. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for the fun and showed Heather how appreciated she is!

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber, we’re committed to being a catalyst for economic growth by championing businesses, convening leaders and ideas, and fostering a fun and thriving business community in Southwest Riverside County. Whether it’s celebrating new developments, supporting our youth, or welcoming fresh opportunities for business growth, we’re here to drive positive change.
