Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: September 30 – October 4, 2024

Week of Monday, September 30 - Friday, October 4, 2024

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we live by our mission: As a catalyst for economic growth, we champion business, convene leaders and ideas, and are the purveyor of fun, fostering a thriving business community in Southwest Riverside County. As the driving force for business in our region, we are committed to ensuring that you, our valued members, have the support, resources, and opportunities to grow and succeed.

Every week, we take concrete steps to elevate the local business environment. Here are five impactful things we accomplished for your business this past week:

  1. Grand Opening of Rancho Family Medical Group's New Wildomar Location We started the week by celebrating the grand opening of Rancho Family Medical Group’s beautiful new Wildomar location! Now serving the community from 13 locations, Rancho Family Medical Group continues to provide top-quality medical care with specialties in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Senior Care. Their unwavering dedication to personalized healthcare is an essential resource for our region, and we couldn’t be prouder to witness their growth.
  2. Job Fair at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort In collaboration with the City of Murrieta and Riverside County Workforce Development, we successfully hosted a Job Fair at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, attracting over 500 eager job seekers. This event connected local businesses with a talented pool of candidates, filling crucial roles and driving local employment. By bridging the gap between businesses and job seekers, we’re fostering economic development and ensuring that companies in our region have the talent needed to thrive.
  3. Retro Game Night Mixer at Southwest Healthcare Our October Mixer was a true blast from the past! Held at Rancho Springs Hospital and hosted by Southwest Healthcare, the "Retro Game Night" Mixer transported attendees back to the arcade era. Between classic games and lively networking, this event was a perfect blend of business and fun. Special thanks to Southwest Healthcare for creating an engaging and unique atmosphere. We look forward to seeing everyone next month at our November Mixer, hosted by Europa Village!
  4. Completion of Sykes Ranch Park Historic Walking Trail We celebrated the completion of the historic walking trail at Sykes Ranch Park in Murrieta, which not only enhances the beauty of the park but also honors the rich 136-year history of the Sykes family. Along with the trail, historic buildings significant to the Sykes family have been restored to preserve their original charm. This project is a tribute to the heritage of our community, and we’re proud to contribute to maintaining such meaningful landmarks for future generations to enjoy.
  5. Patrick’s First U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 Conference Our President/CEO, Patrick Ellis, attended his first U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 conference, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with chamber leaders from across the nation. Here’s a note from Patrick himself:

"Attending my first U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 conference was an inspiring and informative experience. I had the opportunity to hear from national leaders, including U.S. Chamber President Suzanne Clark and political strategist Ashlee Rich Stephenson, on key topics like post-election scenario planning, legal reforms, and strategies for sustained economic growth. Engaging with chamber executives from across the country, we explored solutions to pressing issues such as childcare and advocacy in today’s political climate. This experience deepens our ability to champion business and drive positive change for the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber and our community."

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re more than just a business organization—we are a catalyst for economic growth, championing your business and creating a community where businesses and leaders can thrive. These five accomplishments are just a snapshot of how we’re working to serve you, our members, each and every week.

Be sure to check back next week to see what else we’ve been up to and how we’re continuing to make a difference for your business and our community! Together, we’re building a brighter future for Southwest Riverside County—one week at a time.
